At the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence (WCPE), we are proud to work alongside a dedicated team of volunteer examiners—leaders who believe in the power of continuous improvement and the Baldrige Framework to strengthen organizations and communities across Wisconsin.
One of those leaders is Jenelle Zito, a passionate and experienced educator, mother of three, and lifelong learner. Jenelle brings a unique combination of strategic insight and practical leadership to her work in K–12 education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Baldrige examiner, Jenelle is deeply committed to building equitable systems that serve all learners. She’s excited to join the Wisconsin Forward Award examiner team, where she’ll collaborate with mission-driven leaders to elevate excellence in education and beyond.
For Jenelle, the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework offers a powerful opportunity: to learn from high-performing organizations across all sectors and bring that learning back to her own work. Guided by the belief that “a rising tide lifts all ships,” she sees educational improvement not as a competition, but as a shared responsibility that benefits every student, educator, and family.
