We’re thrilled to continue our Board Spotlight series by featuring Colleen McGuigan, a self-employed quality systems and business excellence consultant with over 30 years of experience in the field.
Throughout her career, Colleen has supported organizations such as Midwest Express Airlines, Modine Manufacturing, Rockwell Automation, and Milwaukee Tool—helping them strengthen and improve their systems. She’s passionate about making systems work for people, not against them, and has built her career around empowering employees to do their best work through strong organizational processes.
Colleen has been an active volunteer with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence (WCPE) for decades. From serving as an examiner and team lead to consulting with prospective applicants, her passion for continuous improvement and performance excellence has been a driving force in her service. Now, as a board member, Colleen looks forward to deepening her impact—supporting WCPE’s mission and introducing more organizations to the business excellence framework.
Outside of her professional life, Colleen is an avid traveler who enjoys experiencing the culture, food, and perspectives of people around the world.
