At the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence (WCPE), we’re proud to be led by passionate, creative, and experienced professionals who bring unique perspectives to our mission. We are excited to introduce Stacey Mueller, MS, CCMP, CPXP, Executive Director of Experience Management at Froedtert ThedaCare Health.
Stacey leads the human experience management function for Froedtert ThedaCare Health—where she and her team explore how people interact with the systems, technology, and culture of care delivery. With a background spanning storytelling, change management, communication, quality, and continuous improvement, Stacey brings a deeply human-centered approach to organizational transformation.
“My career path is nothing I imagined,” she reflects. “I’ve followed curiosity into emerging and adjacent disciplines. It all comes together in my current role.”
Her curiosity and love of learning led her to WCPE through her master’s program in Organizational Leadership and Quality at Marian University. From there, she became a Baldrige examiner, using her diverse background to help organizations assess and improve performance.
“Being an examiner helped me grow and learn as I got to look under the hood at various organizations,” she shares. “Joining the board allows me to stay connected, engaged, and contribute to WCPE’s mission in a new way.”
Stacey is passionate about supporting WCPE’s ongoing journey of growth and innovation, while championing its core offerings: leader development, assessment and feedback, and education.
“We’re all here because we love problem solving, improvement, and innovation. WCPE has so many tools to offer organizations across Wisconsin.”
Outside of work, Stacey channels her adventurous spirit into vintage motorcycles and road travel. She and her partner love exploring new places with their motorbikes in tow—especially when they can take in a local festival or cultural event along the way.
And in the spirit of keeping things fun and real, Stacey’s favorite quote comes from Meatloaf:
“Wasted youth is better by far than a wise and productive old age.”
